Tim Dixon will be taking on the challenge to attempt to do all of the Multi-day mountain bike multi stage races in South Africa over a period of 3 to 4years This massive undertaking will be to create awareness and raise funding for children born with clefts. He will be throwing in a few 1day races just to try and create some more awareness for Operation Smile but his main aim is to concentrate on the Multi-day events. This undertaking is going to take a massive amount of personal sacrifice physically and mentally . Tim has already completed the following events, Knysna Oyster Festival which happened at the beginning of July, Die Burger MTB Challenge (end of July), Gravel Travel in Wellington which also formed part of the MTN National MTB series (End of August),listed below are the events still to be completed this year and the ones planned for next year:

Tim says “These are annual races so I don’t aim to do all of the above (Multi-day) races all in one year calendar year. My main aim is to do as well as I can in each event and thereby create as much awareness and funds possible for Miles for Smiles and Op Smile as I can.
